 Content Rendering Sub-System

Orisis Software, LP is proud to announce the release of the most recent and powerful , content rendering sub-system. The content rendering sub-system controls the way in which all data is drawn to the screen, including the process of interpreting our custom X.Script commands. The latest version now removes some older processes that have been superseded with the release of our latest version of X.Script . The sub-system now performs upwards of 300% faster than previous versions. In addition, this sub-system now works in conjunction with our SmartCache system to cache commonly accessed data (menus, list boxes , News Headlines, Top Ten Lists, etc) to decrease server load and ultimately increase performance. Some of the items enhanced are listed below.

• Support for Cascading Style Sheet font settings
• Reduction of font tags and page size
• Increased intelligence in X.Script command processing

 Template Rendering Sub-System

Orisis Software, LP is now working on the latest enhancement to our CMS product - the ability to render content in templates created by Orisis Software, LP or the customer. We have enhanced our X.Script language engine to now support a new set of content tags that enable the customer to now add content into pre-defined templates. The customizable templates will be distributed to the customer at the time of sale and will benefit from the following features:

• Reduction of source code, which has resulted in an average of 99.7% reduction in code size
• Overall control of content look and feel by the customer
• Performance gains by the removal of rendering overhead
• Can be utilized to create web-site pages
• Can be used to create online documents/forms for online signatures.

Both of the sub-systems listed above have significantly reduced the amount of page processing time as well an increase in performance to the end user.

 Coming Up

Orisis Software, LP will soon be complimented with the downloads/bandwidth monitoring ISAPI Filter. This filter allows greater control of file security as well as bandwidth utilized by customer file downloads. More to come soon.
