As the scoller moves the text from the bottom to the top, if the data is too long (height wise) the information is cut off by not allowing it to show. So what you see is a flash, instead of the last lines scrolling to the top.

This may be related to the 'smearing' we get in redraw of a scrolling object in IE 5.5 - Joe

Actually, I think it is due to the fact the back (behind) layer of information is not calculated to the correct hight. Think of the scroller like this. Take a piece of paper, and cut a 2" x 2" square in it. Then take your drivers license and move it behind the paper and slowing move it from the bottom to the top, letting drviers license pass under the cut area. This is how the scroller works. What is happening is I am calculating the data (drivers license) to be to small, so It thinks it is finished and redraws from the start.

This has been addressed and resolved. I can now easily accept dynamic amounts of data for the scroller and it handles it all with ease. However, the more data the better.
